Trinity Catholic Academy's Test Kitchen

 

The students in Mrs. Susan Magee's Pre-K class at Trinity Catholic Academy in Brockton recently had the opportunity to participate in an America's Test Kitchen taste test. They tasted a summer recipe, Reduced Fat Key Lime Pie. This recipe was healthy and made from fresh ingredients. The children were shown what a lime looks like and where to find it in a grocery store. After the taste test, they graphed whether or not they liked Key Lime Pie. Most of the students said that they did. Student comments were that the pie "felt good in my mouth," it "tasted yummy," that they "would like to have it again." When the recipe is finally published by America's Test Kitchen, the children will have the opportunity to take the recipe home to make it with their parents.
