The TCA Advantage

Educating the Whole Child: Mind, Body & Spirit

Trinity Catholic Academy instills in its students an educational philosophy that focuses on cultivating and building strong character through faith, values, self-confidence and respect for others. We are committed to providing students with the tools they need to think critically, act with compassion, and serve the greater good. TCA gives students the skills and experience to launch their creativity into a success they find meaningful.

Catholic Urban Education

Committed to academic excellence, Trinity Catholic Academy exceeds traditional Common Core standards by invigorating the curriculum with innovative approaches to learning. Our curriculum is based on 180 days, with 1,071 hours of instructional teaching, surpassing the Massachusetts 900 education requirement by 19%.

Every day in Kindergarten through Grade 5 there are 120 minutes of uninterrupted time in English Language Arts (ELA), and 90 uninterrupted minutes in math.

STREAM Curriculum

Trinity Catholic Academy STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) students (grades 4-8) participate in a curriculum contextualized by several subject matters fused together with an overarching social justice question. We teach students how real world scenarios inevitably connect several disciplines, and how implications within these disciplines can be solved through the strategic thinking and moral guidance principles they learn at our school.

Community Connections

Education in Trinity is a community investment. Our various partners are committed to preparing our students for future academic and life success. Our Boston College City Connects Site Coordinator provides support to all students by assessing individual behavior, and connecting students and families with school and community-based resources. Students at both campuses receive exceptional healthcare from our on-campus nurse staff provided by Good Samaritan Medical Center and Regis College. The Campaign for Catholic Schools and the Catholic Schools Foundation are quality supporters that help shape our institution and give funds that directly benefit our students’ needs.

Parents and families are part of our central unit. We offer various ways for families to be involved with us, whether it’s the PTO or other volunteering needs. It takes a community to help our students be all they can be; many students, parents, and partners form life-long connections along the journey to our students’ success.
